Terms and Conditions
1. Payments
In order to confirm a reservation, The Safari Company requires a 30% non-refundable deposit within 7 days of confirmation and the balance of payment is required 45 day’s prior to
arrival.
2. Cancellation
Cancellation outside 45 days will result in a loss of deposit (unless we can claim the money from the
lodges).
Cancellation at 45 days or less will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of total cost of tour (unless we can claim the money from the lodges).
3. Method of
Payment
Payments can be paid directly into The Safari Company's account (payment can be made in USD, EURO, GBP, CHF & ZAR and must be made in full and free of any bank charges). We also accept American Express, Diners, Visa and Mastercard cards.
4. Insurance
TheSafariCompany.net S.a.r.l. is a Luxembourgish travel agency / tour operator and you are insured against the default of our company. But we advise you to take a travel insurance covering them
for personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses as well as cancellation as the booking will be subject to cancellation penalties as detailed above
5. Visas and
Passports
It is important that you thoroughly check your visa requirements before your intended date of travel, as
TheSafariCompany.net S.a.r.l. cannot be held responsible should necessary visa requirements not be fulfilled. Obviously we will help you with any questions you may have related to visas and
passports.
6. Air
tickets
In order to comply with international insurance requirements all airline tickets must clearly show the passenger’s title, name and surname (as indicated in their passport). As this applies to
both scheduled and charter flights we would be grateful if you could provide us with this information at the time of your reservation.
The air fare and airport tax quoted are current and are subject to change without prior warning should the airline impose an increase in rates for any reason. Should the fare quoted not be
available at the time of booking the next applicable fare will be booked and amended costs advised accordingly. Please note that fares may increase between time of booking, time of payment and
the ticket being issued.
The Safari Company cannot be held responsible should airlines discontinue flights on certain routings or change scheduled timetables resulting in missed connections. Should an amendment in
routing or itinerary be necessary, any additional costs incurred will not be borne by The Safari Company
7. General
1. Malaria
It is important that you take precautions
against malaria prior to the commencement of your holiday. We recommend that you contact your doctor, pharmacist or travel advisory clinic for advice on the Malaria areas and as to which
prophylactic is recommended.
2. Yellow
fever
Although it may not be required at time of entry, Yellow fever vaccinations are a legal requirement for entry into Tanzania or Zanzibar . Please note however, that your guests' country of origin
may also require this certificate upon their re-entry. Please confirm with a travel clinic prior to travel.
