Day 1:

The safari will start with a night in Arusha, base station for most of the Tanzanian safaris. 

Days 2 to 5:

You will then be transferred via charter aircraft to the remote Katavi National Park and spend 4 nights at Chada Katavi. Katavi National Park remains one of the greatest wildlife experiences of Africa. Miles from anywhere, it has an almost mythical status and, it’s thought, a greater density of mammals than any other Tanzanian reserve. Rivers groan with hippopotamus and crocodiles, and massed on the plains are the last great herds of buffalo in East Africa, up to 1000 head.

Days 6 to 9:

In the morning you will fly from Chada Katavi to the Mahale mountains on the shore of the Lake Tanganyiaka and will have one of the most incredible experience at Greystoke Mahale . There are few places left on earth that might rightfully be called Eden, and the Mahale Mountains, on the edge of Lake Tanganyika in western Tanzania, is one of them. On a far-flung beach along the eastern shores of the lake, below a huge story-book tropical forest, is the tiny sanctuary of Greystoke Mahale. The water is as clear as gin, the air scented, and the living very easy indeed. The slopes of the Mahale Mountains rise behind camp, home to the world's largest known population of chimpanzees. Within hiking distance is one such group of 60. Every day you can venture out into the forest to observe them, our closest relatives, as they groom, wrestle and forage across the leafy floor..

Days 10 to 13:

An other flight transfer will enable you to reach the Serengeti park. Four nights are scheduled at the Seregenti Safari Camp. Though the Serengeti park boundaries officially define the Serengeti, the ecosystem goes way beyond these limits; we call it the Greater Serengeti. It's a giant picture of wild Tanzania - masses of animals, contrasting landforms, and tribal peoples. We roam around the lot in true nomad fashion. Serengeti Safari Camp is semi-nomadic - it won't move while you're there - but it's actually on a wide orbit, shadowing the Migration: so you, your own Tanzanian driver/guide and private 4WD vehicle are as close to a million wildebeest as possible.

Days 14:

The following nigth will be spend in the same lodge in Arusha.

Days 15 to 19:

The following day, you will be transferred via flight to Zanzibar where you will take a second flight to reach Mafia Island. Spend 5 nights at Pole Pole. "Pole Pole Resort (its name means ‘slowly, slowly’ in the Swahili language) has been hailed by the US Travel & Leisure magazine as one of the top 25 eco-lodges in the world. Its seven spacious en-suite bungalows are set in tropical gardens and were built by local craftsmen entirely of local timber. Raised on stilts, each unit has a private veranda with a Zanzibari bed for those essential afternoon siestas. Indoors, the bedlinen has been imported from Italy, the bathrooms have double basins and the showers are king-sized. Gauzy drapes hang at the windows. Beyond, there are endless views to the horizon." 

Day 20:

Your safari will end either in Zanzibar, Arusha or Dar es Salaam depending on your international flight.
