Days 6 to 9:
Early in the morning, a chauffeur will transfer you to the Cape Town airport for a flight to Port Elizabeth. You will then be transferred via car to Samara Private Game Reserve in the Great Karoo for a four nights stay. Samara, land of serenity, has had as its aim, the realization of the land’s potential, not only as an area of outstanding natural diviersity, but also as home to an ambitious programme of game reintroduction. Herds of springbok, black wildebeest, zebra, oryx, eland and blesbok amongst others “pronk” and run again on the Plains of Camdeboo. Rhino and giraffe now meander across the veld. Nearly 125 years after it was last seen, the cheetah reigns again.
Day 10 to 12:
Samara will drive you to Port Elizabeth airport for a flight transfer to Durban. You will then be picked-up and transferred to Thanda Private Game Reserve for a 3 nights stay. Thanda, meaning ‘love’ in Zulu, is an expression of the magical union of the power of Zulu culture, wildlife, romance and exclusivity. Thanda Private Game Reserve is South Africa’s top award winning safari destination and is situated in northern Zululand, in close proximity to the Indian Ocean. The inimitable integration of South Africa’s best climate and rehabilitated and rich bush land has made Thanda home to amazing wildlife and over four hundred bird species. Ignite your imagination and open your mind to an extraordinary experience for your soul, mind and body. It’s the unique and sought after balance between energizing and exclusive relaxation that we want to share with you and your dear ones.
Days 13 to 15:
After you third night at Thanda, a car will drive you to your next destination, Thonga Beach lodge directly on the Indian ocean for an other 3 nights stay. Thonga Beach Lodge is set on the pristine shores of the Maputuland coast, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. This 24-bed luxury lodge is the ideal place to discover one of the most unspoilt wilderness beaches left on the African continent. Mabibi is a magical place of coastal forests, grasslands, bush, shimmering lakes and exquisite sandy beaches. Its crystal clear, warm waters offer South Africa’s best snorkelling and fantastic off-shore scuba diving. Set above a secluded bay, Thonga Beach Lodge is nestled into beautiful coastal dune forest with sweeping views of the stunning beach below. The lodge offers luxurious accommodation, mouth-watering meals and one of the best dive sites in the South Africa.
Days 16 to 18:
After a drive to Durban airport and a flight transfer to KMIA airport. A final car transfer will enable you to
reach the splendid Timbavati Private Game Reserve where you will stay 3 nights at Tanda Tula. Tanda Tula Safari Camp is located in the
heart of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, forming part of the Greater Kruger National Park and is very well known for the incredible white lions. As one of South Africa’s most luxurious East
African-styled tented camps, we offer our guests an unforgettable experience in game viewing, warm hospitality and award-winning cuisine. Set on the banks of the Nlharalumi riverbed, Tanda Tula
is shaded by majestic trees and overlooks a watering hole that attracts wildlife from dawn till dusk. Each of the 12 tents is completely private, surrounded by lush riverine bush with a deck
overlooking the riverbed.
Tanda Tula is sanctuary to Africa’s Big Five, with traversing over more than 20,000 ha of wilderness and undisturbed biodiversity. Our guests are guaranteed an incredible wildlife experience. Our
highly skilled ranger and tracker teams guide our guests in the early mornings and evenings, in open Land Rovers or on foot. Tanda Tula is the oldest camp in the Timbavati. Steeped in history,
the Hugo family go back many generations linking conservation and the Shangaan culture – and their joy is sharing it with the world. The camp exudes elegance, combining comfort and style with
African roots. The open plan lodge merges luxury with the natural environment.
Days 19 to 21:
After your stay, and hopefully your sightseing of the white lion, at Tanda Tula, a car will transfer you at the
north of the Kruger Park, in the Limpopo province. You will stay three nights at The Outpost. The Outpost lies in a vast wilderness area in the northernmost part of Kruger National Park. This
region, called the Makuleke Region, is bordered to the north by the Limpopo River and Zimbabwe and to the east by Crooks Corner and Mozambique.
Italian born architect Enrico Daffonchio designed The Outpost. Using simple, clean lines and combining elements of steel, concrete and open space, the unashamedly contemporary design of The
Outpost emphasises its beautiful surrounds but blends and preserves the wilderness that is its home.
Day 22:
You will then be transferred via flight either to Johannesburg or Cape Town depending on your international flight.
