Day 1:

The safari starts after your arrival at Nairobi airport. You will be transferred for an overnight stay at Ngong House, an incredible lodge with tree houses close to Nairobi.

Days 2 to 4:

The following morning, you will be transferred via scenic flight to Sabuk in the Laikipia region.  Sabuk Lodge is a stunning wilderness destination, perched on the high banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the Northern Frontier District, overlooking the Laikipia Plateau and Samburu land. The lodge has 6 beautifully furnished open sided en suite cottages, plus Eagle Cottages (a family cottage) which consists of 2 en suite bedrooms, and a private seating / dining room with plunge pool.  Both the lodge rooms and the cottage have their own fabulous views. Sabuk was fashioned out of the local landscape, built with local materials, twisted wood and stone boulders incorporated into the architecture.  Open fronted and private veranda’s face out over the river gorge 150 feet below. 

Days 5 to 7:

After a 3 nights stay at Sabuk, you will be transferred to Meru National Park and Elsa’s Kopje.  Elsa’s Kopje is named after Elsa the lioness, made famous by George and Joy Adamson’s biographical book and film “Born Free”. Elsa’s Kopje remains one of the most elegant lodges in Africa, with one of the most spectacular settings.  It is the best upmarket location to view rhino in their natural habitat in Kenya.  Elsa’s Kopje is almost invisible to the eye as you approach its home on Mughwango Hill. It blends into the rocky crags of the “kopje” (small hill), built above the site of George Adamson’s original campsite. Every cottage is the ultimate ‘room-with-a-view’, uniquely designed and crafted, incorporating the natural features of the rocky hillside. Each cottage has spacious double or twin beds with en suite, elegantly appointed bathrooms. There is an open bar, lounge and dining room with an exceptionally inviting infinity pool overlooking the Meru plains. 

Days 8 to 10:

Your trip will continue to the Masai Mara. A flight from Meru to the Masai willl enable you to spend 3 nights at the amazing Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp.  The Cottar Safari tradition began in 1919. Nearly 90 years on, we continue to provide an unparalleled safari experience to discerning clients in Africa. Extending an era of luxury and quality, we return to the original spirit and essence of ‘safari’, reminiscent of a golden era – an era of romance, professional guiding, adventure and elegance.  Situated in the Masai Mara, in an untouched exclusive concession bordering the Serengeti and Loliondo reserves, the area guarantees privacy and an abundance of wildlife. The camp accommodates up to 22 guests in authentic white canvas tents, which are spacious and luxuriously furnished with original safari antiques from the 1920s.

Days 11 to 15:

After a last game drive, you will be transferred via direct flight to the Kenyan coast and the wonderful Msambweni Beach House & Private Villas where you will spend 5 nights in front of the Indian Ocean in a peaceful, romantic location. Msambweni Beach house & Private Villas is in a quiet, unique setting on a stretch of completely unspoilt sandy beach surrounded by 28 acres of natural land. The property has 700 feet of private beach along a four mile stretch of coastline with palm trees offering peace and tranquillity where guests can really be at one with nature while enjoying a luxury, yet discreet, stay with attentive service in beautiful surroundings. There are no beach boys on this beach as there are no other hotels around.

Day 16:

Your safari will end after a flight transfer from the coast to Nairobi where you will be able to catch your international flight.
