3 nights at Susuwe Island Lodge, Bwabwata National Park, Namibia
3 nights on the Ichobezi Safariboats, Impalila Island, Namibia
3 nights at Ntwala Island Lodge, Impalila Island, Namibia
Days 1 to 3:
Your safari starts at Kasane airport (Botswana) or Victoria Falls airport (Zimbabwe) with a charter flight to Immelman air strip. A 30 minutes road transfer will bring you to Susuwe Island Lodge. An African river, a spectacular canopy of indigenous trees and vistas of the Kalahari grasslands in the Bwabwata National Park are the inheritance of the animals that roam here. Situated in the Kwando River in northeastern Namibia, Susuwe Island Lodge offers just this.
The Kwando River nourishes its delicate ecosystems thus sustaining the varied game and birdlife in the region. Lofty canopy viewing decks set amongst tall riverine trees overlook endless savannahs and glistening lily-studded wetlands. A firepit is embraced by a spacious lounge area and eclectic African art. Relaxation, privacy and comfort are paramount at Susuwe. A mouth-watering aroma, the clink of silver against china, a wine glass filled - these are the joys of African alfresco dining. Fresh air sharpens whetted appetites and a picnic laid out amidst tall whispering grasses in unchartered territory illuminates the experience.
Six luxury suites, each with a wooden viewing platform and private plunge pool, is a haven of calm and respite, an airy dreaming space to recharge the senses. Professionally guided game drives are rewarded with special sightings of roaming elephant and buffalo, lechwe, lion, and leopard.
Days 4 to 6:
After a last morning activity you will fly via charter flight to Kasane and will then be transferred to Impalila Island (boat and road transfer) for a three night-stay with the Ichobezi Safariboats. The ICHOBEZI LUXURY SAFARIBOATS are unmatched in style, elegance and pure comfort and allows you the thrill of overnighting in some of the most scenic areas along the river. Each safariboat has four large twin cabins, beautifully decorated with the focal feature being the large sliding window that allows you your own personal view of the changing landscapes before you. The cabins also have an en-suite bathroom, each tastefully fitted with a modern shower, toilet and hand basin.
Days 7 to 9:
After your fantastic cruse on the Chobe river, you will return to Impalila Island for a 3 nights stay at the romantic Ntwala Island Lodge. Amongst other activities, you will visit the famous Victoria Falls. Situated 70 kilometres upriver from the Victoria Falls - where white sand beaches and palm trees add to the romance - Ntwala Island Lodge is a wonderfully secluded Chobe destination. Ntwala Island Lodge comprises four ultra-luxury styled suites, each inclusive of a private plunge pool and viewing deck; annex bath feature; indoor and outdoor shower; as well as a private sala extending enticingly out over the water. We ensure personalised service and culinary expertise as well as privately guided activities (big game, fishing and birding). Ntwala also offers exclusivity and intimacy within a complete holistic African experience.
Meander between the multiple waterways with your personal guide and private boat, cruise the quiet backwaters or revel in an exclusive Chobe sunset cruise while viewing a plethora of game. Pursue the famed tigerfish on fly with excitement and anticipation. Visit for a time. Reminisce for eternity.
Day 10:
Your safari ends in Kasane airport (Botswana) or in Victoria Falls airport (Zimbabwe) after a transfer from Impalila Island.
