1 night at Tsika, Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia

2 nights at Chongwe River Camp, Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia

3 nights at Sausage Tree Camp, Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia

DAY 1:

Transfer from Lusaka. Schedule flight to Royal Zambezi airstrip with a short game drive and boat transfer to Tsika Island Camp (approx 1 hour). Or by road to Lower Zambezi and boat transfer to Tsika Island (Min 4 & approx 3 hrs). Lunch on Tsika Island, followed by (siesta) an afternoon or early evening visit to the Chiawa Community Cultural Village and surrounding Villages. Overnight at Tsika Island Camp.

DAY 2:

Canoe from Tsika Island to Chongwe River Camp. Full day canoeing. You paddle for approximately 7 hours with stops for game viewing, drinks and a picnic lunch. Arrive at the beautiful Chongwe River Camp late afternoon where a refreshing hot shower and nice diner under the African stars are waiting for you. Spend the night in the comfort of your room.

DAY 3:

Full day at leisure at Chongwe accommodation with usual choice of activities. No paddle today. Your day will start with a morning game drive. After lunch you can choose to fish on the Zambezi or have a bush walk. The late afternoon game drive will continue after sunset and you may see nocturnal animals such as leopard and hyena.

DAY 4:

Canoe from Chongwe to Sausage Tree Camp You will leave Chongwe River Camp and paddle downstream through the channels. A full day of canoe whre you will certainly see elephants, buffalo and antilopes either on the islands or on the banks of the Zambezi. Arrive at Sausage Tree Camp. Before the succulent dinner, enjoy a shower in the romantic open-air bathroom.

DAY 5:

Full day at leisure at Sausage Tree You will have the choice today between game drives, games walks or fishing. You can also simply relax at the swimming pool with a refreshing cocktail, watching animals constantly seen on the water channels in front of the swimming pool.

DAY 6:

Canoe from Sausage Tree through the game rich Chifungulu Channel. After a nice Picnic lunch you will continue paddling during the afternoon and will return to the camp during a late afternoon, evening game drive.

DAY 7. Transfer to Jeki airstrip for flight to Lusaka and any onward travel.
