Luxury has a price. A Luxury Safari in Africa does not always mean a five or six stars lodge. We have our own definition of luxury for a safari: being in a small camp or lodge, in a remote location, and be able to experience the wilderness, without the crowd, for a few days.

All camps or lodges under the Game Lodges page meet the above criteria but in addition can be considered as the best one in their region and or speciality. You will find below a selection of game lodges and camps that also meet our definition of luxury but where accommodation is less at the top end standard and or are not the only one in their location. We are not talking about bargain safaris. You will feel the same feeling and go through the same incredible experience. You may think prices are not cheap enough but do not forget that in addition to the accommodation, the food and beverage as well as all activities are included in the prices.

Make sure to go to our Special Deals page as most of the lodges and camps have interesting discounts (such as pay for 2 and get the third night free or very competitive rates during the low season, which is often the best season for game viewing).
