"GOCHEGANAS" - a descriptive Damara name, meaning: "Place of Camel Thorns, abounding with Candle-Pod Acacias" is more than just a place, it is an experience. 
Located a mere 29km south east from Windhoek, and situated on a hilltop overlooking a spectacular landscape, this luxurious Lodge offers a unique combination of Wildlife, Nature and Wellness experiences.

GocheGanas offers 16 luxurious chalets, under thatched roof, with uninterrupted views over the Nature Reserve. All rooms are equipped with en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, mini bars, TV and DVD/CD players.

Complimenting and enhancing the Lodge, is our Wellness Village, boasting state of the art wellness facilities, as well as heated indoor pool, cave sauna and fitness and gym facilities. A variety of wellness treatments and massages are offered.

Game abound on the GocheGanas Nature Reserve, with 25 different large game species totalling approximately 1,600 animals roaming across the reserve. Our early morning and late afternoon game drives remain a highlight for many of our visitors.

The GocheGanas Wellness Village boasts a top of the range selection of wellness treatments, products and services. Other facilities include eleven treatment rooms with state of the art equipment such as a crystal bath, hydrotherapy bath, a vichy shower etc, as well as a heated indoor pool, a cave sauna in a cathedral like masonry vault, a well-equipped fitness gym, fruit and juice bar, thus making a visit to GocheGanas Wellness Village a unique experience.

Children of all ages are welcome at GocheGanas, but in order to ensure a tranquil surrounding to our guests in the Wellness Centre, we request that children under the age of 12 do not enter the Wellness centre.

The architecture and decor of all buildings at GocheGanas incorporates local arts and crafts in celebration of the culture of Namibia. We offer 16 totally private chalets under thatched roof with uninterrupted and spectacular views over the surrounding Reserve.

Our luxurious accommodation consists of a Crown Suite and 15 Elegant Suites.

The Crown Suite:

This private suite caters for a maximum of four guests, and consists of a master bedroom equipped with air-conditioner, television with DVD/CD system, minibar, telephone, an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath under skylight, as well as an outdoor shower. Via a timber deck, this unit is linked to a generous living and dining area with a couch-bed, an en suite bathroom.

Elegant Suites:

We have 15 spacious Elegant suites all boasting with a private timber deck , equipped with air-conditioner, television and DVD/CD system, mini-bar and telephone. All 15 rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a separate toilet and 10 of the suites offer twin beds and outdoor showers, whilst the other 5 rooms offer king size beds.
